The basic IRC services that we offer don't require you to provide us with personally identifiable information as a condition of use. 

If you register your nickname, you will be required to provide an email address which will only be used in verifying you are not a bot.

Our servers do collect routine internet connection information such as your IP address, the time of your connection. We also scan your computer for open proxies which could cause harm to the network.
