Spot business can provide very nice benefits for your family members. Also, you can avert another family's spot benefits by raiding their spots.

So, definitely, you will want to organize your members to raid spots as effectively as you can.

Raid rules

Two players can raid a business owned by another player or the local mob if:

  • Both are members of a family (they can be from different families)
  • Neither player owns a business himself
  • The business being raided isn't owned by the family of either of the participants
  • Both players are able to perform a raid (3 hour waiting time between raids)
  • The business can be raided (30 minutes between raids)
  • The profit in the business is more than $0

Your minimum rank should be soldier and you can raid businesses in any city.

Two players are needed for a raid. The leader needs to put in up to 200 bullets and the driver needs to bring a car. The bullets are lost after the raid but the car can be returned, though it will probably be damaged.

Raids are always completely anonymous, unless you manage to take it over and become the new owner.

Purpose of raiding

Raiding will gain you rankpoints, and you will take a percentage of the spot's profit and reduce the protection if you succeed. You will gain more rankpoints if the spot has more protection on it. Raids can also result in significant loss of health and damage to the car.
However, the main purpose of raiding is not personal profit. Raiding is the only way to gain a spot for your family in the first place, and raiding the spot objects of other families can deny that family the benefits from that spot. Even if you are not actively hostile towards other families it is probably a good idea to stop them from gaining the benefits… it is never a good idea to let potential enemies get strong when you have the chance to do something about it.

Asking your family top what targets they want you to raid is a better way to achieve this than it is to raid random spots.

Raiding tips

Any family member can raid a business, but raiding will be very hard when spots have high protection. You will have more success if you use a very expensive car, high ranks, and fresh accounts to start raids on well protected spots. (When you see you are tired on your smuggling page, you will have a low chance to succeed).

As protection gets reduced, raiding becomes easier and lower ranks can take over and finish the job. The higher ranks can then move on to other well protected targets.

The amount of raids you have attempted influences the amount of money you can take, so it is a good idea to let many family members participate. That means you reduce profit faster and have a better chance to take over multiple spots or deny benefits.

Outcome of a raid

The outcome of the raid is based on what rank the players are, account strenght, car used, raid experience of both players and the protection of the spot who you are raiding.

When a spot has:

  • 100% protection the maximum profit of a raid is 1% + the raid experience of the players raiding.
  • 90% protection the maximum profit of a raid is 2% + the raid experience of the players raiding.
  • 80% protection the maximum profit of a raid is 3% + the raid experience of the players raiding.
  • 70% protection the maximum profit of a raid is 4% + the raid experience of the players raiding.
  • 60% protection the maximum profit of a raid is 5% + the raid experience of the players raiding.
  • 50% protection the maximum profit of a raid is 6% + the raid experience of the players raiding.
  • 40% protection the maximum profit of a raid is 7% + the raid experience of the players raiding.
  • 30% protection the maximum profit of a raid is 8% + the raid experience of the players raiding.
  • 20% protection the maximum profit of a raid is 9% + the raid experience of the players raiding.
  • 10% protection the maximum profit of a raid is 10% + the raid experience of the players raiding.

Example 1:

Player A and Player B raid Spot X
Spot X has 100% protection and a profit of $ 50.000.000
The raid is successful.
Due the spot had 100% protection the maximum profit is 1%
1% of $ 50.000.000 is $ 500.000
Both players had a total raid experience of 0,0001%
0,0001% of $ 50.000.000 is $ 5,000
The total profit of the raid is $ 505,000
Player A and Player B both recieve $ 252,500
Spot X loses 10% protection.

Example 2:

Player A and Player B raid Spot X
Spot X has 60% protection and a profit of $ 100.000.000
The raid is successful.
Due the spot had 60% protection the maximum profit is 5%
5% of $ 100.000.000 is $ 5.000.000
Both players had a total raid experience of 0,0031%
0,0031% of $ 100.000.000 is $ 310,000
The total profit of the raid is $ 5,310,000
Player A and Player B both recieve $ 2,655,000
Spot X loses 10% protection.

There are cap limitation added while raiding for certain ranks. The cap is based on what rank the leader is.

The maximum total profit when the leader is:

  • Soldier is $ 2,500,000
  • Swindler is $ 5,000,000
  • Assassin is $ 7,500,000
  • Local Chief is $ 10,000,000
  • Chief is $ 12,500,000

Example 3:

Player A and Player B raid Spot X
The leader of the raid has the rank Soldier
Spot X has 30% protection and a profit of $ 1.000.000.000
The raid is successful.
Due the spot had 30% protection the maximum profit is 8%
8% of $ 1.000.000.000 is $ 80.000.000
Both players had a total raid experience of 0,0050%
0,0050% of $ 1.000.000.000 is $ 5,000,000
The total profit of the raid is $ 2,500,000
Player A and Player B both recieve $ 1,250,000
Spot X loses 10% protection.

If the leader had the rank Bruglione:

  • The total profit of the raid would have been $ 85,000,000
  • and both players would have recieved $ 42,500,000

Owning/protecting spots

When you own a spot you can no longer raid other spots. However, you are now responsible for protecting it in order to secure the benefits for your entire family.

The owner panel allows you to buy initial protection automatically every time the spots are reset. You pay a percentage of the profit in the object, up to 50%. The protection system for spots, it is now only possible to set the percentage of profit you pay for protection in multiples of 10 (eg: 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50).
You can choose to pay this money directly from the spot profit itself or from your own pocket. Using the object's own profit costs you nothing personally, but it means less raids will be needed before you lose it (or it's benefits). Paying out of your own pocket can be expensive however. The amount of profit in your business after the reset is a random amount between $500,000 and $2,000,000.

If the spot drops below 100 protection, you can top it up once every hour.

To buy:

10% protection you have to pay 1% of spot profit.
20% protection you have to pay 2.5% of spot profit.
30% protection you have to pay 4% of spot profit.
40% protection you have to pay 5.5% of spot profit.
50% protection you have to pay 7% of spot profit.

When spots reset, any leftover profit will be added to your account.

As the spots don't have successors, if you get killed it will go into possession of  the family that killed you.

Your spot can go bankrupt. When your spot is bankrupt for the first time it will stay closed for 48 hours. Every next bankruptcy will add +12 hours of extra time until spot can be re-opened.

Organization

The best way to secure benefits for your own family and deny benefits to specific other families is to properly organize your raiders and owners. To keep spots protected, you might want to sponsor money to your spot owners, and it is a good idea to have active players in charge of the spots so they can be online to top up protection.

You will definitely want to pick and communicate targets for your raiders, and set an order of raiders from strong to weak. You may also want to sponsor your raiders to compensate them for their health loss and especially to repair heavily damaged expensive cars.
Of course, the more people know about your plans and targets, the bigger the chance your opponents will find out about it.
